How well will it run on my PC?
Sup all.

Wanted to know how well this would run on my PC. As a general idea, I am an accuracy kind of guy, so I like to make my experience on any emulator I play as close to the actual system as possible. I will be turning off any graphics enhancing options and turning on any accuracy improvement options, which I know from past experience, can impact the speed of emulation.

CPU: Intel i7 2700K 3.50GHz
Graphics Card: Nvidia GTX 570
OS: Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit
RAM: 8 GB DDR3 1333Mhz

Looking for full speed at all times in games.

Just keep in mind PPSSPP is no BSNES, Nintendulator, or Gambatte. It's not cycle accurate (AFAIK), doesn't run the PSP OS (XMB, the PSP kernel, etc.), and still does have glitches with numerous games. That said, if you want it to aim for accuracy with PPSSPP, make sure speed hacks are off (the ones that say "these WILL cause glitches"), and maybe set rendering resolution to 1x (up to you). If the software renderer was a bit more mature (e.g. less glitchy) and faster, I'd suggest that too, but it still needs some work. PPSSPP does a pretty good approximation of a lot of the popular PSP games, but few are perfect.

As far as your PC specs go, pretty much every PSP game should run fine, speed-wise, assuming it actually works in PPSSPP. NVidia is a huge plus too; it generally has fewer graphical glitches than AMD or Intel GPUs do.

4GHz AMD 3900X, 32GB DDR4 RAM, 6GB Nvidia RTX 2060, Asus Crosshair 7 Hero (Wifi), Linux
