I got to the part where you're supposed to visit the rival school, but then the game went blackscreen.

RE: Shin Megami Tensei: Persona 2 - Innocent Sin
So I'm guessing the problem is on my end then if the game freezes roughly 30 seconds into the intro? Is there a best combination of settings for this game? I've tried a few of them with no luck so far.

FYI, could the old PSP save files that I dragged over to the program folder have anything to do with this?

Yeah, since you downloaded a faulty ISO instead of ripping the game yourself

Yes, apparently there are two key issues that must be solved to make this game fully playable. There are still crackling sounds and everything is very dark. The issues remain even with the v0.9.5-858-g10b9e83 revision.

I actually did rip my own copy, but thanks for the assumption of piracy.

Well, I've heard reports that the videos don't work on a certain ISO so I assumed you downloaded that.

You do realize mileage will vary on an app like this right? There are several hundred different phone models on a fragmented OS. It's not going to be the same experience for everyone.

The update has slightly improved performance of this game, but it still running barely OK. I'll need to tinker with the settings to see if I can make this work better. What have you tried?

Damn we're getting there. Runs so goddamn smooth when i use the fast forward button compared to before. Runs perfect, looks super just the sound to go. Cannot wait~

Even if he did he wouldn't tell you. You don't mention the d word and live to tell about it in the forums.

RE: Shin Megami Tensei: Persona 2 - Innocent Sin
Part of the problem was my phone most likely. Since I've upgraded to a Galaxy Note 3 from the HTC Rezound, my experience is exactly like the poster above. Runs buttery smooth, but the audio needs work. Too bad my old save files won't load, but I only made it to the part after Aoba Park.

RE: Shin Megami Tensei: Persona 2 - Innocent Sin
So yes, the only issue I'm now finding is that the audio for Innocent Sin Portable is crackily and otherwise garbled. Have there been no developments on the situation? It's so immersion breaking to have to switch off the audio.

RE: Shin Megami Tensei: Persona 2 - Innocent Sin
Hey,
I´m new here and just tried to import my save files
for the game to the ppsspp.
Well the save is shown in the loading menu but then it jumps back to the main screen.
Any suggestions?

Any updates to our current audio problems? Hoping this new update will fix it but I know it won't

RE: Shin Megami Tensei: Persona 2 - Innocent Sin
Same issues are still there (save files, audio) , the latest update didn't fix anything with this game. The change log noted that some fixes for known issues are still in progress, but I was just hoping it wasn't for this game.

Oh well, we'll just have to wait until mid April to late May or so for the next update.
