RE: noob question
Hum… I really don’t know!! The only thing I know is that almost every game I played (including Monster Hunter) are running smooth with frameskip on!! Doesn’t matter if it runs at 30fps or 60fps!!

Maybe somebody who really understands emulation stuff will be able to answer it properly!! :\

I was an Xperia Play gamer until my dog ate my beloved phone!

Now I’m an Xperia ZL/ZQ gamer!
Quad-Core 1.5 GHZ
2GB RAM

It works better, but i miss the gamepad!! T_T'

RE: noob question
Hello dark_zer0!
Unfortunately the MH series, yes the entire series, is locked at 30 FPS. There is a thread that tries to unlock such games in order for them to run at a higher FPS, but they haven't manged to do anything about MH so far.

RE: noob question
Now I understand. Ok then, from what I know different FPS lock games need a different frameskip option.
Go to this thread and look at the first step: http://forums.ppsspp.org/showthread.php?tid=5236

For example a 30 FPS game works best with 2,4,6, and a 60 FPS game would work best with 1,3,5. It might be the other way around if you use Non Buffered Rendering mode.

Another thing that might cause stuttering in MH games is multithreading, this is from my personal experience, not sure if it applies to everyone.

If nothing works, then yea it might just be your phone.
