system time
hello, i would like to ask if there is a way to set the time in ppsspp (some games have different actions based on time of the day.)
if there is no setting to change this i would like to know if it is based off your PC's time setting?
thank you in advance.

RE: system time
Yeah, it's definitely based in the system time of your device.
This is probably the responsible code : https://github.com/hrydgard/ppsspp/blob/...rnelTime.h

RE: system time
Thank you for the information
It would seem ppsspp fails to recognize my PC's system time as my save files say they are made on the 1st of January 1970, with the time being completely off.
Could anyone please give me insight or advise on how to fix this problem?

RE: system time
What version of PPSSPP are you using, and what games are you playing? A 1/1/1970 bug was fixed quite some time ago.

Thank you for the reply, i am using ver 0.9.1 64bit and the game is とある科学の超電磁砲<レールガン> (to aru kagaku no chou denjihou <railgun>) as latest release does not run game properly even with same setting.
it seems the problem is only with this game, could it be because game was run on both latest and then 0.9.1? Also problem does not occur on 0.9.5, however graphical problems cause game to be unbeatable.

RE: system time
Does the 1/1/1970 problem still occur if you:

1. Create a save in 0.9.5
2. Then play it in 0.9.1?

If not, I'd probably just do that as a workaround. 0.9.1 still had the 1970 bug, iirc, so there's not much you can do for saves created with the bug.

RE: system time
i'm sorry, your reply was so fast i missed it.
so it was fixed very recently instead of some time ago?
in that case does anything come to mind which would make game not run on 0.9.5 but work fine on older versions?

RE: system time
By "it" I meant the 1/1/1970 thing. I've no clue if your game actually works properly on 0.9.5 or its newer git builds (I don't have this game).

RE: system time
Oh i see, and the game runs correctly aside from the time/date issue on ver 0.9.1.
On ver 0.9.5 it does not run correctly but as you suggested the time/date is correct.
Thank you for your help so far.
I was wondering if anyone knows if there are any noticeable settings introduced in 0.9.5 which would cause the game to stop working correctly as it did in 0.9.1.
