Slowdown
When playing some games (list below), there is small slowdown every few seconds. It disappears immediately after I tap unthrottle, but starts again after a while.

I have problems in these games - Legend of Heroes series, Hexyz Force, All Kamen Rider Generation 2

Is it only me or is that some know bug?

Using Windows 7 64bit version, Ati Radeon 7450

RE: Slowdown
Make sure "Catalyst AI" is off in your video card settings, it just makes things worse as far as PPSSPP is concerned.

Try lowering texture upscaling or internal resolution. If this helps, you probably don't have enough video memory for your previous settings.

Also, make sure that "Buffered Rendering" is selected, not "Framebuffers to Memory" or w/e. That will slow things down considerably.

RE: Slowdown
I actually write that post about 3 times. I forgot to say that no matter what settings, result is always same. When uncaped, speed is 100+FPS

It starts to lag when I chose some extreme internal resolution, like 7x or 8x, but I play on 3x and it is always at full speed, even these games - except they slow down for no reason (as i said, it is fixed by taping unthrottle)

Can i ask are why you use internal resolution that high? just use 2x or auto to get full speed.
Are you use Change Cpu clock? set it to 0.

RE: Slowdown
I dont use Ati Catalyst, I find most of features useless

Why I use 3x resolution? Native or 2x dont give me any speed bonus and 3x looks best at my 1600x900 monitor. I use "nearest" texture filter, because I like that original pixel look in sprite games and lower resolution makes them blurry

Besides, PPSSPP is great program and runs always at full speed, except for extreme resolutions

RE: Slowdown
Do you use the latest builds? Because in them there is the option "Timer Hack" that freezes on GTA games.

Phones: Poco F3 8GB/256GB (Snapdragon 870 5G) and Redmi Note 6 Pro 4/64GB (Snapdragon 636)

RE: Slowdown
The problem was apparently Vsync. When I disable it, there was no more slowdowns. Screen tearing is however present and "prevent FPS from exceeding 60" does nothing. Or I am missing something?

RE: Slowdown
You're right, VSync can slow down the game if your system is not powerful enough...
"Prevent FPS from exceeding 60" is only useful for some games like God Of War games Smile
