Fan translation is still just as much as it was reviewed since review is important part of translation, otherwise some idiot could just go and put some wulgar words, it's the net, stuff like that always happens.
Anyway to me it looks very disappointing right now:|, people submited lots of automatic translation just to get quick % and some others even started correcting auto translate to look "more natural". That's just stupid, since the orginal meaning is completely lost and if by some chance it passes review and chances are it already did, it might be more confusing than japanese.
It also deorganizes work of actual translators who now have to dig through to find what was incorrectly translated instead of just take remaining untranslated stuff to work with and adds extra work for the reviewer.

Somewhat I just lost interest to track this translation as it might follow MH tradition:

My mom said you were probably drunk when you started cursing Accel, so if you were I can understand your rage. I don't have a problem with the language. I'm actually fluent in Japanese. The problem is that I can't kill three giant monsters at once. I've beaten every game I ever played on PS2, PS4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One without cheats. I'm pretty good at games that are not CRITICALLY UNBALANCED LIKE THIS ONE. And so what if I got this game for free. Are you saying that everyone here is really only using PPSSPP to "back up" copies of games they bought? People on Quora and Toms Hardware would flame you to death if you said stuff like that there because they know it isn't true. Like people are using bittorrent to download fair use educational videos from 1950 and not The Walking Dead lol...

Didn't really wanna sound harsh there, also, the problem with that is the fact that, even if everyone does download stuff they aren't legally allowed to own without paying, its still an illegal action, and announcing it publicly will most likely get you a bad name.

If you can get someone (just 1 person) to multi with you, its the easiest mission. Ask the guy youre playing with to distract Fierce Kongou and later Sekhmet

As for Magatsu Kyuubi, Long Blade work really great because Long Blade's combo is not too long like Short Blade but it still pack a punch

If you want a Long Blade recommendation, get the Red God Arc Soldier (red robot thing)'s set. Yes the entire set. Why? The shield have [B] HP Recovery, so you can take God Eater Control Unit and regen health more that what you can take in few minutes

The blade have All Out Attack, making your already powerful attack much more powerful. There are more useful skills but Im too lazy to look it up...

so is this still borked in that I can't take companions with me? cuz and I fully admit my scrubness here, I can't completely solo this game rofl the missions just get DUMB or maybe I just like seeing Nana get smacked by a Vajra when she tries to use the boost mode Tongue

Also how is the fan translation progressing? Saw a post about it and was wondering if its going well?

1 - Yes, npc's are causing instant crash in most missions since AI module loads at least partially on top of their module, nothing really changed in the code about it from very long time, so no suprise.
After #8043 get's merged ~ probably incoming week ~ something might change(well the addresses for cheats in GE series and possibly some other games will most likely do;p), althrough I was too busy/lazy to check it. Last time I did, it actually made the situation worse for GE2 but then it had some problem that Henrik found recently.

2 - Fan translation slowed down thanks to bunch of slowpokes filling it up with automatic translation "to help" - killing work flow in the process.
You can see it here - realistically looking from september 13 to september 27 there should be more or less a flat line, that mountain of translation is worthless and has to be edited. From what I see % of the reviewed translation actually dropped since it included some of this fake progress, maybe will drop even more as that review % was climbing way too fast to be a proper review:c.

Ah, that's unfortunate I was looking forward to the translation, now I fear he may just abandon it entirely thanks to those slowpokes. Oh well, I guess I better learn how to fight solo if I wanna play GE2 lol.

Ive come with a bad news. V1.1.1-41-g9890460 makes GE2 1.4 unplayable

Now its black screen when finished loading the mission (I did it alone, no NPCs) like when bringing NPCs

must've been v1.1.1-36-g27a124d. the changes that were made after g27a124d probably wouldn't affect GE2 like that.

also GER is just 2 weeks away!! the demo is extra challenging without blood arts and skill install.

In the worse thing,ppsspp can not alloc memory for this game so that
GE 2 1.4 can work again.
I am following that find what does jpcsp fix from alloc memory.
