Nexus 5 - Adreno 330
Was about to buy this phone to play PPSSPP, I do currently have a I-9500 Galaxy S4, which has octa-core and PowerVR GPU, but unfortunately it does not run PPSSPP well. I was thinking to buy this phone simply to run PPSSPP. Do you think it is recommended to buy an Adreno 330 GPU phone to buy this phone simply to emulate PSP games (with most games in full speed)? Thanks in advance!

Well, PPSSPP runs a bit slower than it should on Adreno 320, so I would wait for some people to test it out first.

Thanks Henrik, I was hoping for PPSSPP to be optimized for Snapdragon 800 as I feel many people would have Snapdragon 800 device. Do you think that Tegra 4 runs PPSSPP better than Adreno 330?

Better than Adreno 320, yes - the Shield runs PPSSPP great, especially after the most recent update which seems to have sped things up a bit. I really don't know about Adreno 330.

RE: Nexus 5 - Adreno 330
Im not an expert but i got Snapdragon 800, Galaxy note 3(Adreno 330)

Dissidia FF runs great without frameskip 100%
Crisis Core FF runs 100% most of the time but it needs frameskip 1.
Bleach Heat 7 100% without frameskip but still have a lot slowdowns while in fight.
Parasite Eve, The third birthday 100% no frameskip
Naruto Kizuna Drive 100% no frameskip
Kingdom Hearts 100% no frameskip.
------

Those are the games that i currently have installed...deleted many cuz they worked too slow.
But from now it can only get better i guess Big Grin

And of course i still have some small bugs, like some random black flickering and depending of which game it could still lag a bit on game menu or misc.

Device: Samsung Galaxy Note 3
Rom: Stock, non rooted.

Hi, thanks for your reply. I was wondering do you turn on the anti alliasing on to make the graphic better and still running at 100%?

RE: Nexus 5 - Adreno 330
I own the nexus 5 and the only games I've tried so far have been FFVII Crisis Core and Little Big Planet, both ran full speed even with texture filtering, upscaling, and fxaa.

RE: Nexus 5 - Adreno 330
I luckily own both tegra 4 and snapdragon 800, as well as adreno 320. PPSSPP runs best on tegra 4, even if to compare to s800, I blame qualcomm for bugged adreno 3xx drivers, even guys from reicast experiencing issues with it. Tegra 4 is a great chipset but it doesn't have opengl es3 support, so things like dolphin emulator is not supported on this platform.

Does god of war Ghost of sparta Run full speed on the Note 3 snapdragon? And is the sound good? Because on xperia Z I get ~20fps and when I enable Timerhack the game runs full speed ( fps stays around 20) but the sound is horrible. And do you know how prince of persia revelation and rival swords run on the note 3? On Xperia Z the screen stays black after :
Revelation - difficulty menu
Rival swords - intro movie
