Failed reading save data

Failed reading save data
Does this happens to anyone else.
This often happens here when I...
1.Start a game
2.Hold the unthrottle button to skip the logos and so on(quickly go to the title screen to load my save)
3.If the save dialog is the custom dialog that ppsspp is using,it will randomly display garbage and you won't be able to load the save until you exit the game and start it again(or restart ppsspp)

This never happens when I don't use the the unthrottle button

It happens randomly on any ppsspp version I use(the latest I used was 0.9.1-1463)

Using PPSSPP on Windows 7 x64 SP1
i7 4771 3.5Ghz,GTX750TI,16GB RAM

RE: Failed reading save data
Well yes, that's the obvious thing to do but my question was more like "does it happen to anyone else" not "how to fix it"

RE: Failed reading save data
do u mean, load game, then the next screen says ' no data ' ?
it sometimes happens to me with YS seven.
even without unthrottle.my save will appear when i restart the app.
maybe something wrong with reading save data from sdcard (on mobile)??

RE: Failed reading save data
It happens on games that are using the PPSSPP custom save\load dialog and not not games that have their own dialog.

And what I mean is...for example you have 3 saves and when that happens you see only one save and weird characters and the size(kb)of the save is HUGE.

It's really hard to make it happen when you want it to happen(to show a picture how it looks like)

Edit:It just happen on KHBBS with 0.9.1-452 x86
It says NEW DATA but I actually have 4 saves

Don't know if it matters but I'm also quickly pressing buttons to skips the intros\logos while is speed is set to unlimited

Edit2:At least on KHBBS this is how to reproduce it(not 100% sure way)

1.Start the game
2.Switch to unlimited speed
3.Hold the key for turbo and the key for "X"
4.At the title screen when you try to load,it will often not be able to load any save

RE: Failed reading save data
id like to add,
when saving.. i see a dozen of blank slots, i scroll down more or less 20 times to reach & see my save.. dunno why.

(those are my experience a week ago, i deleted the game so i cant test it now if it still happens. Big Grin )

RE: Failed reading save data
Those are empty save slots...to save on some not visible slot.

For example you know that you can see only 3 saves(unless you go down\up)and when I make some important save(end of the game or clear game data)I save on some not easy to see slot so I won't accidentally overwrite it.

While loading saves, all saves are visible(for example you have save at slot 1 and 99)but when you save,it is visible only the current slot(for example 1)and the second and third but not 99

RE: Failed reading save data
but when u save game
u should first see the data/profile u loaded right ?
but what i see first, is a blank slot,
i think it was around 40slots, scroll up and scroll down. difficult to find my save, its always "somewhere down the road"
not in the first screen.
is that normal? Big Grin

RE: Failed reading save data
When you load\save it supposed to select the last updated save.
Just load your save and then save again on the first slot

RE: Failed reading save data
yeah, thats what i do / and supposed to happen.
when saving, the first slot to appear should be the latest updated savedata i used right?
but in ys seven, its all empty slots.. i have to scroll thousands of times (exaggeration Smile )
before i can see my latest save.

eitherway, its not a big deal to me, coz i already finished YS & deleted it. hahaha Tongue

RE: Failed reading save data
I clear YS 7 twice and I have 2 saves...that never happen to me(nor on any other game)

When saving, the last slot I used to save is selected
When loading, the last updated save is selected
