As [Unknown] said, we do tend to read the forums (though not every contributor does). Tongue

ah I see, interesting.

So, I think it's a safe bet that we'll see an improved build for new android models in the next update?

I realize that it'd be an ambitious challenge, so it'd be completely understandable if it wasn't ready by then, but you know

* i've been offline for 2 days,
* last build i used was 934,
* but when i downloaded build 1015 just now.
* unbelievably! the speed is there again!
* and a little faster than xsacha's build!
* did u fixed the EGL, and Stencil issue on snapdragon?

* thanks so much guys! Big Grin

* i think stencil, alpha, really affects the speed on snapdragons..
* now, MHFU runs at decent speed again.

* great ! Big Grin

* now i got good speeds again on my games..
* Gods Eater Burst = Not a single Hiccup or Scratch on Sound (with Frameskip Awto)
* SoCoM = now less laggy with 15fps. (no frameskip)
* MHFu = reaches 100 speed frequently.
* Harvest Moon is now 89-95 speed. >> few more improvements & it will be perfect!

* thanks again devs!

* now i wonder if other users experienced the same?

On Windows the speed is better too (you can see the difference when you press Tab) Smile

voodoo, graphics were worse, really? Please give examples as we have worked hard on _improving_ graphics in a number of games. The only regression I know of is 3rd birthday.

RE: Current state of Snapdragon-based CPUs in PPSSPP
Oups sorry my bad sometimes wen I install a diferent build the settings from the previous are automaticly applied so I have to make reset then restart. So I v must been mistaken older build from 1033 witch behaves very good with fps, speed and graphics. Only problem is on videos and subtitles. Wen I play God of War g.o.s some videos are black screen and the subtitles flickering making them hard to read and sometimes with same settings I can watch the videos but subtitles still flickering.Also I found that different duilds can not load same state. I hope my post helps and I hope that soon I can play silent hill without screen fricks all the time white screen flickering wen I open a dor and graphics like im watching movie on my grandmothers tv from analog antena with bad signal Smile

I have Snapdragon phone too, I don't see anything wrong. Speed is understandable. I finished Duodecim Dissidia, 3rd Birthday, and Kingdom Hearts. Speed doesn't go down 50% and runs at 80% most o the time. Is that supposed to be slow? I don't have any other device to compare with.

RE: Current state of Snapdragon-based CPUs in PPSSPP
Snapdragons are still slow at doing many drawcalls but the software skinning optimization fixed the worst slowdowns by drastically reducing them (further improved by texcoord speedhack in some games). So I don't know if there's much more to do, there aren't many situations left where we can safely combine draw calls.

* i got another phone, a cheaper one with lower specs than my snapdragon, But with PowerVR gpu,

* i tested MHfu, SOCOm and Harvest Moon.

* Sad my snapdragon lost all battles with powerVR

* powerVr is speedy!

Snapdragon is a CPU, power vr is a GPU.. you can't compare the twoSmile
