Keep up the good work guys though.

Have you enabled the software skinning option?

Yes, I actually download and test nearly every build.
To be sure there is no Conflict with added settings I reset config to default every build.

I'm testing SOCOM US NAVY SEALS FireTeam Bravo.
Got between 29 - 31 fps when campaign starts.
Governor set to Performance.
CPU set to 1.89Ghz on all cores.

Yes, the software skinning has given huge improvements to Qualcomm.

Doesn't apply to all games of course though, I guess SOCOM doesn't benefit very much then.

Only have 3 games on me at the moment but pes2013 seems to benefit from software skinnin, nice work.

Other 2 are mk unchained which is fast anyway.. so skinnin is irrelivant and snooker 2007 which is OK not great but OK.

for some reason software skinning makes MH3 slower, takes away about 4-5 fps.

my specs
s4 pro @1.5ghz quad core

i know that, but i would have expected, if dint make a difference the fps would stay the same, not to actually take away . but hey no complains, most games run fine on my device.

RE: Current state of Snapdragon-based CPUs in PPSSPP
The patch has zero impact on snapdragon users. Someone reported speed gains in Soul Calibur, but it runs the same as before. Maybe it helps some games, but as henrik stated, currently the SS option is heavy on mobile gpus, so it may cause more harm than good right now.
When it will be optimized with neon instructions maybe we will see some improvements.

I think you are alone with this. I get very decent speedup on Soul Calibur just from this commit (about 20%, so noticeable!). Soul Calibur is now playable without frameskip on Snapdragon Plus.
Meanwhile my Tegra 3 does not get a speed up at all from this commit.

Sorry, probably something was wrong with either my OC or my kernel.
At least now, when the resolution is downscaled to 720p (which is your screen resolution i presume) the game runs at 75% without frameskip, so yes, it got a huge boost.

At 1200p which is the N7 2013 resolution it doesnt hit such speeds, but with frameskip set to 1 is really really playble now.

So Henrik keep up the good work, the boost is amazing!
