RE: Shin Megami Tensei: Persona
Interestingly, emulation of Persona on PPSSPP takes less CPU resources (10% of mine) than emulation of Persona on ePSXe (25-35%).

RE: Shin Megami Tensei: Persona
Guess I'll report that the new version (0.9) hasn't fixed the problem.

RE: Shin Megami Tensei: Persona
The newest build has fixed the problem, best i can tell. it has for me at the very least. no black boxes around persona's or special effects, no map obscuring. It all looks good now

RE: Shin Megami Tensei: Persona
yeah they do indeed, I'm Playing the snow queen quest right now, no problems, no noticeable glitches that i can see, Persona is now fully playable without hindrances, from everything i've seen, I'm about 3 or 4 hours in now, so, I think it's a good sign. I'll make sure to note if i find any kind of related bug or anything

RE: Shin Megami Tensei: Persona
I still have no transparency for sprites like the pink tree in the nurses office. Sad
Is there anything I have to change in the settings?

PPSSPP version is 0.9.1

RE: Shin Megami Tensei: Persona
It's only fixed in the latest development builds.

Oh cool, it works now! Thank you!
Are there any disadvantages to those development builds?

RE: Shin Megami Tensei: Persona
Sometimes they can be less stable or introduce new bugs, but they're bleeding-edge, so if you want to stay up to date all the time I'd suggest using them. If you're on a PC or Mac it's quite easy to maintain having multiple PPSSPPs so you can have the stability of the last release(0.9.1) and the benefits of the latest beta/dev build. On Android/iOS, not so much. You'd have to uninstall APKs constantly, and on iOS, there is no archive of older builds.

RE: Shin Megami Tensei: Persona
Confirming that latest dev build fixes the problem. So can we say this game runs flawlessly now? FPS is perfect and I'm not aware of any other problems.

Well.... Normally, if you select a character in battle, they flash pretty slowly but in PPSSPP the flash spazzes out.

RE: Shin Megami Tensei: Persona
I have an issue running this game on android. The game runs surprisingly well; menus, battles and the overworld map run very smoothly. But when I enter a 1st person dungeon, the screen starts to flicker very badly, so bad, that I can't keep playing. I can't take a screenshot because I'll just get a black screen.
Is there any way to fix this? I have a Samsung S3.
