I have no idea what causes your "no sound problem" since you didn't give
some specific explanation on what causes it, but here are some suggestions, I'll try my best to point out the problem. 1. First, try if your sound works on any other applications, for example do you hear your login music when booting your computer at startup? or do you hear audio when watching in Youtube or other multimedia software? 2. Is it a freshly installed OS? maybe the OS doesn't have Audio software included in the package, Try installing some audio driver like Realtek HD Audio Driver 3. Check your Headphones/Speakers wires if they're a little loose in between and in the connector part. sometimes, headphone and speaker wires (how can I explain it?) needs to be reconnected, try removing the plug and reconnect it again.
