Yes same is happening with my Android phone that's ARMv6, and just drops back to the main screen of the phone.

MSM7627 65 nm ARMv6 Up to 800 MHz (ARM11) Adreno 200 year 2008 - latest snapdragon arm v6 pnoes
BlackBerry Curve (8530), Coolpad 5820, Kyocera Zio, LG Optimus S, LG Optimus V, LG VS740, Motorola Devour, Motorola ES400, Ouku Horizon P801W, Palm Pixi Plus, Samsung Galaxy Prevail, Samsung Galaxy Y (SCH-i509) (CDMA), ZTE Score x500, Samsung Galaxy Ace, Samsung Galaxy Gio

from here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Snapdragon_...m_on_chip)

http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthre...?t=1596800 - list of arm 5,6,7 phones

so the answer is up to 1ghz probably if overclocked, gpu like Adreno 200 or Power Vr 531, and some ram, up to 512mb I think

RE: galaxy ace problem
The thing is that with 0.8.1 games like GTA LCS worked fine (slow but at least running), and with 0.9 the game get only green screen, and now the emulator don't even start (v0.9.5 - 464) Confused

My "daily use" rom is stock rom but I test custom and CM7 based roms almost every week XD (I'm a flasher Tongue).

Anyway this is not the problem since, for me, the emulator work the same on every rom I already tested (I read people who have problem with bareboned roms but its not my case). And as I can see I'm not the only one with the problem, Henrik said he had the "green screen" problem with his Galaxy Y too.

RE: galaxy ace problem
stock 2.3 for me is the slowest, laggiest and buggiest rom ever, so I don't recommend using it for heavy 3d games, emulators (the only good thing about it is battery and hardware acceleration in video)

CM7 is much more faster, but the bugs with hardware transform remained
In CM9,10 hardware transform bug disappeared
so a good graphics driver can mean a lot

There's an unofficial port of CM9 for your device (serch here) http://wiki.cyanogenmod.org/w/Unofficial_Ports that you could try, although I'm not sure if it'll sove the problem, perhaps the ARMv6 itself needs fixing

Armv6 is only single-core.
Fastest one is probably the Symbian ones @ 1.3GHz.

Crashes that you had on earlier versions are fixed now right?

Green screen problem appears only on Broadcom GPUs, for some games. Nothing to do with ARMv6.

RE: galaxy ace problem
Just tried latest Git build of Android v0.9.5-483-g3b40705.

These are the spec's of my Armv6 phone...........

Name: Samsung Galaxy Mini (GT-S5570)
CPU Speed: I believe is 600Mhz.
Cores: 1
GPU Vendor: Qualcomm
GPU Model: Adreno ™ 200
OpenGL: OpenGL ES2.0 (1566933)
GLSL: OpenGL ES GLSL ES 1.00

Still just returns to the phones main screen, doesn't even show PPSSPP at all.

Gosh, that phone is extremely slow. That GPU shows 13 Frames (0.2 FPS) in GLBenchmark :\
Do you know which version it stopped working?
