Are you refering to 3D games or all games?

As far as stretching goes, these images stem from the nes. Heavily cropped on the left. A bit cropped on the right. And decent croppings on the top/bottom. Afterwards, it is stretched to fill the fullscreen area to prevent those glitchings that happen on the sides of the screen on said nes games.

They still look very good! I haven't tested real 3D games yet though with said stretched textures (like psx on retroarch, etc.).
