read framebuffer to memory slowdown

Question read framebuffer to memory slowdown
so i just download the latest 0.9.1 1233 and i notice that using read framebuffer to memory render is not as fast as before,and it become same speed as read framebuffer to cpu.does there's something that make it slow like f:cpu?,as you know it speed should be same as buffered render,now it speed is very slow and same as f:cpu.
also i test in android,any answer here?

my sub weapon:
xperia mini hd
1ghz scorpion
single core
not clocked

my ultimate weapon
acer(laptop)
2.2ghz ?core
intel media accelarator 3000

i'm a tester,but not as good as other,please be kind with me,haha.

AFAIK, speedwise, it's always been, from fastest to slowest:-

Non Buffered Rendering > Buffered Rendering >> Read Framebuffers to Memory (GPU) > Read Framebuffers to Memory (CPU)

And it still is, at least on Windows. ANY "Read Framebuffers to Memory" rendering mode has always been much, much slower than Buffered Rendering, and both of them carry speed penalties, which is why I do not recommend them in my performance guide unless absolutely necessary in certain games for added accuracy.

You should provide more details, e.g. which game are you testing the modes in, how fast did it use to be, etc. Provide numbers too.

What was the last revision you tried which had nearly the "same" speeds? Details please.

hmm,i don't really know where it started,and the last revision i tried is 0.9.6 1145,i did'nt update the build and skipped to the latest(1233).also where the old build in buildbot,i can't see them.

as the speed in the game project diva well it like this:
old build:f:gpu=94%
latest build:f:gpu=40-50%
:f:cpu=40-50%

i will try any method possible and report back,also i think we need someone who has the same problem also i guess.

I'm pretty sure that this has been changed to download from the GPU every frame or more frequently at least, instead of every 3 frames as before. So it's for sure going to be slower.

Yeah, we had to change it so Breath of Fire 3 works with it. If you don't read it every frame, it makes it extremely choppy. The ideal solution would be to see if BoF3 can actually run without FB -> Mem though..
