It was working fine until last week, maybe the fact that I connected my new PS3 controller have something to do?

RE: Gamepad issue
This has happened before: you have to go to control panel > game controllers > advanced > select the device you want to use with older programs > choose your controller.

Otherwise, it won't work with ppsspp at all.

Aparently, pluggin another controller in might mess up that "choose your controller thing".

here's the thread where I exposed the issue and they provided me with this nice solution:

RE: Gamepad issue
Terminento is correct, this is the first thing to check if you're having problems with DirectInput controllers. On Windows Vista/7/8(does this exist in Windows 8? I'm sure it does..) this control panel is hidden, but you can find it by searching control panel for "USB Game"(no need for quotes or proper capitalisation) and choosing the "Set up USB game controllers" option that appears.

RE: Gamepad issue
First I want to thank you all for your help. As Terminento suggested I went to advanced on game controllers and selected the first of my twin USB pad (the one that is connected), but sadly the problem is still there.

I also even tried Xbox360ce that works for me on games like Biohazard Revelations, but nothing on PPSSPP.

Just to mention, I only conected my PS3 controller one time, does it have anything to do?

EDIT: I DID IT!!!! I was selecting the wrong controller, now works like a charm. Thanks to all!!!!

RE: Gamepad issue
With the PS3 controller disconnected, try to reboot your PC and see if it works then. PPSSPP tends to be stubborn and only uses the first controller detected by Windows.
