RE: The 3rd Birthday
Enable "simulate block transfer" to fix the black screen on start. Don't turn that off unless you're having performance problems.

Also, for this game I recommend leaving "retain changed textures" off. It is actually sometimes faster to have it off, even if you have enough VRAM. It speeds up only certain games (for example, Popolocrois... but it speeds that game up significantly.)

RE: The 3rd Birthday
How can I remove the dotted lines on screen by not turning on buffered rendering? buffered rendering causes glitches and sound stuttering, I'm using a local android phone with 1G RAM quadcore.thanks.

3rd Birthday Bad Chameleon Effect
[Image: PPSSPPWindows64_2015_06_10_18_05_25.jpg]

This happened after I teleported into a monster and killed it on The 3rd Birthday. What setting controls this or is this an internal issue? She turns colors to any object she is around.

This is from the latest git build June 10th 2015. Seems 100% reproducable.

Merged.

Have you tried to restore PPSSPP's settings to default ?
You can do this in the "System" settings Smile

Thanks. That didn't work when I disabled it and continued playing, but it worked when I disabled it and reset the emulator.

RE: The 3rd Birthday
Does anybody have the save data(from the first save point) for the Europe version?
The game data is:
CRISIS CORE -FINAL FANTASY VII- (ULES01048)
Europe

I already read that for start a new I just need to start a new game and let it run, the intro scene will not appear and eventually the game will start, but I already did this and nothing happens, I see the subtitles and I can hear the music. Don't know if I just need let it run more time to see if it starts or it will never gonna start.
I'm using an iPhone 5s, iOS 8.4 and I'm running the version 1.0.1-799-gb5f7d93 of ppsspp. Can somebody help me?

RE: The 3rd Birthday
Can someone please tell me what this is where the HUD looks like it was painted on my a 5 year old? It looks like some kind of terrible post-processing, but I have that turned off and I can't figure out what it is. I've turned off everything in the graphics options that looks like it could be it, but nothing. Is that just how the game looks?

RE: The 3rd Birthday
@brokenbirthday I have no clue what 5 year olds you met that can draw fancy letter and long stright lines like it was in their nature, but if they do it by hand get an autograph before they grow up into famous artists and stop talking to you.;X

If you ask why it's rounded, that's because you're using high texture scaling. For ui it's actually just an improvement as it doesn't really change much from scaling other than eating all the aliasing. I don't really know what kind of ui you expected from a PSP game, but they all are very large and basic since they have to be visible on a tiny screen.

Pretty much all of our texture scaling methods except bicubic include xBRZ and will round the graphics which can look very bad for some in any game that tries to have realistic graphics. No wonder since it was designed for games with cartoon graphics, UI's which are basic and big like actually look fine with it.

I might be just not understanding what do you mean, since if rounding done by scaling would bother you, you wouldn't really write about UI, in fact it's probably the last thing to speak about looking bad with texture scaling in this game, just look at those nasty textures of ground and walls on your screenshot. Maybe you're just so close to a tree that you can't see the forest.;p Try disabling texture scaling completely and you will see how game was designed to look like, if you don't like either, you can always use lower scaling, x2 often looks pretty decent even in games which original feeling is ruined by x4 or 5 texture scaling.
