Ok, finally got it to work on iPhone 5. But the background & characters all go black randomly. That's odd.

I'
m wondering if its my phone not being good enough or if the emulator isn't able to run it at a good speed yet.

On my iPhone 5 i get about 35fps frameskip off.
60fps frameskip on. I prefer off although slow, but enjoyable to play. Frameskip on is too choppy.

RE: Tekken 5: Dark Ressurection
On xperia play it has a very low framerate, I think with overclocking it will be playable at decent speed but I never have tried it with this phone.
I will post results of the game running with OC.

RE: TEKKEN DARK RESURRECTION
I tested the US version using v0.7-455-gc1963c5. Works 60 fps (on a pentium e5800 3.20 ghz), frameskip disabled. Background music gets cut off after a second or so of playing, and some sound effects are clipped. Graphics are flawless except for the health bar. Still playable since you can still see the health bars change, the only thing missing is the borders.

There's some flickering in the hud and some stages are completely black, but turning off hardware transform fixes it. No speed hits if you turn off the hardware transform so all is well and good.

RE: Tekken 5: Dark Ressurection
Some intresting facts:
1.All VAG format sounds cut exactly at 2 seconds (dunno if that helps addressing the issue).
2.In the level with the gold treasure on the ground that you can step on it, the sound effect that it makes when you step on it sounds aliased. Intrestingly it's just that, it's exactly how it would sound if you wouldn't apply any interpolation to the sound file and it doesn't sound that way on a real PSP which kind of proves that PSP does internal interpolation to VAG audio like PS2 did (Catmull-Rom spline perhaps?).

On the contrary, something recent fixed the game being prone to random crashes. I haven't encountered any crash even after completing story mode with some characters that it used to crash always.

Damn your getting 60 on frameskip, them iphone 5s must be pretty powerful.

I just downloaded a later build and now I'm getting 30 fps with all settings include frameskip on but it actually plays smooth and doesn't look choppy.

speed is better with frameskip on but screen flickers too much. with frameskip off doesnt flicker but slower.

Not really, but in my family I'm surrounded by people who develop/programmers so more or less I'm it and I always check them when they work, but nothing more than that other than pushing myself understanding what does what, what causes what etc.
