Not are all. But you will get a good speed. I run on my Galaxy S2 all my games at 50% or more. Quad Core will not make much difference, but when multithreaded be fully optimized, will support 2 or more core. This option is available, but not make MUCH difference.

About the Xperia, some games runs good in 1Ghz, but 1.2Ghz is much better. But is probably that he used the option Change CPU Clock. And this game is not heavy.
