anyone else exited for the 0.9 build?
its coming, and its coming soon if you believe the main page of the ppsspp site.
im pretty exited about this build, what changes will it bring? will some game be finally fully playable? will some artifacts in kingdom hearts birth by sleep or crisis core be fixed? i cannot wait to find out xD

what are YOU hoping for in the 0.9 release?
let it be known in this topic Smile

personally i hope the graphical bug in 3rd birthday will be fixed (blue fog) and that the movies of final fantasy dissidia 012 will be fully watch-able, but i think that might be a bit too optimistic xD

RE: anyone else exited for the 0.9 build?
Personally I don't see it as anything special because I always use\try the newest beta and some problems are fixed long time ago.

If I was using only the official released(not betas),I'll definitely be happy when 0.9 is released because there are tons of fixes and features between 0.8.1 and the latest beta that I like.

Using PPSSPP on Windows 7 x64 SP1
i7 4771 3.5Ghz,GTX750TI,16GB RAM

RE: anyone else exited for the 0.9 build?
It's pretty much like vsub_ said it. To those of us who update dev builds almost every day, 0.9 is more of a formality than anything. I can see how it'd be exciting if you only use official, stable builds though.

RE: anyone else exited for the 0.9 build?
but i assume there will be more differences between the latest beta and 0.9?
i use 8.1-1156, i hope there will be some changes in games, otherwise my excitement is uncalled for Tongue

RE: anyone else exited for the 0.9 build?
Sure, there's a new key mapping UI that was just pushed for example. But since 0.9 is supposed to be released next week, I think it is, I wouldn't expect it to be a miracle build(I suppose it might look like it is, again for the people who don't use "unstable" builds). 0.8 wasn't, 0.8.1 wasn't, and 0.9 won't be, either. Having just got into the scene and being a newb and all, I'm still exploring the rather vast depths of this wonderful emulator on my dinky machine.

And a brand new version is supposed to be coming out already? Fantastic stuff.

RE: anyone else exited for the 0.9 build?
A stable version, yes; as both vsub_ and daxtsu said though nothing too relevant for those who rely on daily builds.

Since English is not my first language sorry for some misspelling on my posts

Thanks!

I guess you're in the oldie club too, when it comes to machines used for testing PPSSPP, although I think your Pentium M @ 2.0 GHz can give my machine a run for its money.

RE: anyone else exited for the 0.9 build?
The day after v0.9 is released I'll be on v0.9-53 and the day after that v0.9-84, etc. There is no excitement to be had for numbered releases for projects that are open source, have daily builds and are in such rapid development.

RE: anyone else exited for the 0.9 build?
Keep in mind that versions are just numbers Wink
If you keep using the latest available Git build everyday, stable versions are not interesting at all...

But they can be very impressive for users who use only stable builds, I agree Smile

You're welcome Smile No, with multithreading support (though still experimental) and a GPU like Nvidia 7600 with good OpenGL support, your machine can easily beats mine.
