Spacing bug

Question Spacing bug
Some time ago I reported that issue.
https://github.com/hrydgard/ppsspp/issues/2127

But now, I'd like to try to fix it myself, so I find a thread
http://forums.ppsspp.org/showthread.php?tid=3909

So. Is it all about font texture or font width calculating in the code?

Any hint from experienced devs?

RE: Spacing bug
We just need a new font to made. As can be seen in the pictures here the fonts look fine when replaced with the official one. Unfortunately, that can't be packaged with the app as it's copyrighted. If you can create a suitable replacement font, have at it. It's just not a major issue on the dev's to-do list right now.

RE: Spacing bug
It's the font texture. If you use real PSP fonts, the issues go away. Since we can't distribute them with the emulator, however, we have to use other fonts. They could definitely use a facelift.

RE: Spacing bug
It's not about ingame texts, they are ok.
But in dialogs http://take.ms/K2KoA

RE: Spacing bug
Well that's a bit more interesting. Never noticed odd spacing in dialogs with English if that helps narrow down the issue. Best of luck.
