I'm not solarmystic, but I did some independant testing of the function, and the difference in performance is very minimal on my Pentium D machine, so it doesn't really matter either way, unless you have a game that needs it to work.

An example would be Dead or Alive: Paradise, which needs I/O on thread option to boot up and work properly.

On Android, make any difference?

Phones: Poco F3 8GB/256GB (Snapdragon 870 5G) and Redmi Note 6 Pro 4/64GB (Snapdragon 636)
