Everytime I load state ppsspp crashes

How do I fix this?

This also happens to me... especially when i do it repeatedly.
What I do is restart the ppsspp application, and the re-load the saved state.

No problems here but I'm using little older beta(0.8.1.125)...I was doing a lot of saving\loading states while I was making some cheats for Persona 3

If the following crashes for you, you've definitely found a bug:

1. Load a game.
2. Get somewhere in the game (or don't.)
3. SAVE state.
4. Optionally, restart the emulator (same exact git build) or go somewhere else in the game.
4. Load state.

Unfortunately, savestates are not compatible between different git builds or releases, so if it only crashes when you try to load a state you created in another version, that's expected behavior. If you're attached to using savestates as a way of saving progress, don't use git builds and stick with a single version of PPSSPP instead (although eventually you will need to lose the savestate for next release, etc.) I recommend saving through the game's normal save feature instead.

If you have found such a bug, the most likely thing is it has to do with:
A. Which game you're playing.
B. Where you were in the game when you saved the state.
C. Where you were in the game when you tried to load the state.

So you'll need to say what all three of those are, as well as which git build exactly you are using.

I know of only one savestate bug currently, although I'm sure there may be more. That bug is in Tales of Phantasia / Narikiri Dungeon X. If you savestate while in Tales of Phantasia, and then restart, you won't be able to load state. You'll have to switch to Tales of Phantasia (menu screen at least) to load the state properly.

Unfortunately, that particular bug is a bit annoying to fix, although we will fix it at some point. However, it's a good example of what I mean by all three things being important.

Isn't this expected behavior...I mean,shouldn't we wait at least a little after loading a game before loading a save state.
I've encounter such problem on pcsx2 and that's why since then I always wait a little(modules loading and so on)before loading a save state when I start a game.

Personally I don't remember ppsspp ever crashing when I try to load a save state...maybe I should try newer betas

Edit:This happens on 0.8.125 and the newest beta.
On Crisis Core,try making a save state here and load the state on the second image...do than couple of times(load the state there)and ppsspp will crash...but I think that's to be expected(loading save state so soon after the point where the state resumed the game)

Yep.. happens here on a few games one bein snooker 07 psp.. no problem though like unknown said use ingame saves which I never had a problem with.. I think the other game was pes2013...

The normal saves get corrupted sometimes too(rarely but it happens)
btw [Unknown] did you saw this thread?
This can case problems too if you accidentally hold the key for saving\loading enough time...the problem still exist on the latest beta.

until ppsspp is at a stable stage, this will happen. For now we can use the actual game saves.

I actually started avoiding using betas after the big changes started(around 0.8.1.140)...problem after problem but that's to be expected,they are betas after all.

Now I download them just to see the current progress(not to use them to play games)

Actually I failed to load state save data sometimes, they weren't corrupted.
Try load several times.
