Full gamepad control?
Is there a way to play in PPSSPP using only the gamepad? I mean, if I press the Right Trigger button on my controller, it pauses the game and shows the menu the same as pressing ESC on keyboard. However, I can't navigate the menu items using the gamepad. I have to use the mouse instead.

Also what are some tips to optimize PPSSPP on Windows 7? Whenever I search for tips on Google, all I end up getting are results for the Android or mobile version of PPSSPP.

You can configure it. Go to Options > Controls > DirectInput.

Yes that was exactly my point. I want to navigate the UI using the gamepad. It works on some of the menus but not all of it. So maybe there's a way to enable it for all somehow?

There is? That's pretty awesome! I did want to say that this emulator is really cool, the fact it runs as well as it does it pretty dang amazing. Is there a thank you thread for PPSSPP?

1°) Press the "Settings" button.
2°) Press the "System" button.
3°) Under "Button Preference - _ to confirm", press the button you want : you have the choice between "Use O" and "Use X".

I think this is what you need Smile

RE: Full gamepad control?
I know I have mentioned this in other threads, but is ppsspp working of full support for controllers? It seems kind of relevant to this.

What do you mean by full support. Could you be more specific?
