More good news, the developer if this emulator said this, and I quote "We are working on an N64 core but it won't be released for a while to ensure that it is worth the wait."

RE: RetroArch: Emulates nearly every gaming console
retroarch is the number one only emulator out there for android that emulates cave story ( well besides ppsspp.... but ppsspp at the moment doesnt seem to be able to run .eboot files for android atm as of 0.80 making it so cave story wont run on ppsspp at the current point in time). All in all its a pretty good emulator + its free !!!! ... who could ask for more its free + bunch of emulators + no ads

RE: RetroArch: Emulates nearly every gaming console
More good news! I asked the creator of RetroArch this question: "Any chance of a psp core in the future"

He replied with: "Probably will port PPSSPP - it could work very well with libretro GL. Still, you could just as well use the official version really."

I hope this becomes a reality! I would love a - All-in-1 emulator Smile

Can you report back, and tell us how well it performs? I don't have it at the moment. My iPhone is not jail-broken yet. Also my android phone is slow for these things to test.

RE: RetroArch: Emulates nearly every gaming console
Interesting, does it actually have decent n64 emulation? I've found myself rather disenchanted with project 64 but still never bothered to look up any alternatives.

The developer is working on an N64 emulator core to add to RetroArch. He says he will only release it when it is stable. So currently it is not included with RA. This is what he said about N64: "We are working on an N64 core but it won't be released for a while to ensure that it is worth the wait."

RE: RetroArch: Emulates nearly every gaming console
Eh, I've tried it in the past.

Honestly, while it's a nice idea (If uniformity in your emulators is incredibly important to you, then this is the emulator suite for you!), but for the most part, Individual apps (My Boy! for GBA, etc) do a better job on an individual system level better.

I'm also not a fan of it's in-your-face game pad, but I'm aware that's subjective.

RE: RetroArch: Emulates nearly every gaming console
I just found a way to install RetroArch, and other emulators on my iPhone 5, without a Jailbreak.
