I can imagine how the device would explode...even before the emulator could load the BIOS. Heh.

It seems nobody in this forum except the devs team could literally take anything seriously.

....I see.

Except that you are wrong.
Is just possible, year after year android-based devices are getting more powerful and eventually they will get to a point where running a PS2 emulator would be nothing.

The only problem is someone to code it, of course.
But even Dolphin is making his way to mobile devices, who knows what future brings.

I'm not saying this thread isn't retarded (because it is), but ya know, is kind wrong say this is "impossible". Is just not practical right now. Smile

But once again, compared to the hyper-speed PPSSPP development, to develop a PS2 emulator it would take a lot of time should the tech is available (read: an Android device which finally capable of emulating higher-tech consoles). See PCSX2, it took them more than half decade to make a fully functional PS2 emulator, yet some (many?) games aren't more-or-less perfectly emulated yet.

Oh, should you take my previous words too seriously, it's called sarcasm, for some undisclosed reasons.

RE: ps2 emulator on android
I'm not being that serious myself, so don't really get mad about it.
To be fair, a lot of PSP was discovered and unveiled by JPCSP when PCSX2 come out of nowhere, probably PPSSPP would have a slower development if it were the pioneer.

Just saying, but I think faster devices will not take so many years to show up.
Tegra4 for himself will be god damn it fast, after him will be just tears of joy.

And tears of pain and sacrifice for the devs, lol

Yeah but just take a look, most of them are either dead in the water or the development have been grinded to almost complete halt that it takes more than one year for a single minor update.

...damn, reminds me that I gotta wait for another years for demul 0.5.8 update. *sigh*
