RE: ps2 emulator on android
Well, if the PS2 emulator for Android be based in PCSX2, like PPSSPP in JPCSP, let's have a PS2 for Android soon, and more fast, because the creator will start of zero. PCSX2 is slow just because was the first. But not will run in actual devices.

Phones: Poco F3 8GB/256GB (Snapdragon 870 5G) and Redmi Note 6 Pro 4/64GB (Snapdragon 636)

PC: AMD Ryzen 5 3600 / 16GB RAM DDR4 3600MHz / NVIDIA GTX 1660 Ti 6GB / Windows 10 Pro

RE: ps2 emulator on android
it will happen.. hell a 360/ps3 emu is even feasable but not for years... maybe 4/5 years for a ps2 emu able to run on android 360/ps3 emu in aboit 10 years when nano tech kicks in lol.

ps2 emu on current hardware... no chance but it will happen.

dreamcast will happen this year.. but unless its coded in hle (high level emulation) then we may need dual cores even quad cores.. which most people don't have.

I can imagine how the device would explode...even before the emulator could load the BIOS. Heh.

Why not make it yourself then?

But if they were to pull it off, I would be impressed! and it takes quite a lot to impress me.

RE: ps2 emulator on android
I have a Sony xperia zl and I can play ps1 flawlessly and I have nulldce running pretty smooth with a little graphical errors due to the dev not finishing this work of art. Ppsspp is running smooth as well with sound and it also has a turbo mode to enable you to go really fast. I believe this phone can handle anything and I would love to test it on more challenging emulators that are hard to run so I can see what this phone can really do. Does anyone have a link to any new emulators?

RE: ps2 emulator on android
Luckily for me, I own 3 DreamCast units. If I ever want to play DC.. I hook up my Dcast Smile but I really want an emulator instead, then I can sell all the consoles. I rather have mobile DreamCast. But I know development wont start until 2014.

I have a PS2 aswell. But Dreamcast is closer to my heart. Although i've had good times with the old PS2 Smile

your opinion of the DC is limited, a lot of gamers would totally disagree with your statement.

RE: ps2 emulator on android
I have a PS2, but it is a bit bad to read games. And is much bad play games only in my house. I want to play in any place, like a portable console, and I don't will have problem with scratched discs too, much less reader. An PSP Emulator already is good to spend time, but the games not are good like the PS2 games.

>me still highly disappointed that no Ace Combat game has been made playable yet on PCSX2 >:-(

Now if someday someone kind enough to make a PS2 emulator for Android that could properly run all 3 Ace Combat games, I'll gladly throw my money upon their faces.

Yeah and you will need to have a phone that has very good ram like the new phones for example "samsung galaxy s4"
