I just tested that with 0.9.6.2 on PC 64bit, and yes multithreading + non buffered would make it work.

Notes: Completely playable if use suitable setting. (I think.)

Open GL or Direct3D 9 usable. Use Buffering Rendering ang turn off Multithreading.
Use in Open GL a bit lag happen (don't no why?). Try to low frameskipping.
