ATI Display Driver not responding
Hi,

Whenever I play a game on this emulator in about 5-30 minutes randomly, I get a freeze with no sound playing. 10 seconds later, the PC screen is entirely black for 1 second then the emulator screen is entirely black with a message in the task bar telling me that the ATI Display Driver stopped responding and has been restored.
When I close the emulator, a message tells me to wait for emuthread time out and the process is still there in the Task Manager.

Anyone have a clue for that ?

Using PPSSPP v.0.76-1564 x64, I'm on a laptop with :

*Windows 7 Professional Edition x64
*Intel Core i5 430M (2,26 GHz)
*4 GB RAM
*ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5850M with 12.8 Catalyst drivers

I'm sorry if I posted this on the wrong forum I didn't see any technical problems sub-forum.

RE: ATI Display Driver not responding
Have you overclocked your GPU? That happens to me when I overclocked my card too much so basically that's become unstable and driver restores back it's stock speed.

RE: ATI Display Driver not responding
Updating my drivers from 12.8 to 13.4 actually seemed to solve the problem. Could play for 2 hours without any crashes. Sorry for the concern.
