I have the same error and it seems not to work because it tries to load a 32bit dll Xinput 9_1_0 whatever

interestingly I don't have the problem with the official releases 0.8.0 and 0.8.1 tested
also a bunch of releases from the orphis buildbot (v0.8.1-74-g88b9fa7 being the last)

RE: PPSSPP x64 build on Windows 7 64bit - not working
uses everything from system32 -.-
should be SysWOW64 shouldn't it?

EDIT: official releases (which work) do the same except for xinput 9_1_0,
they use xinput 1_3
all DLLs show up as 64bit but all are from system32

RE: PPSSPP x64 build on Windows 7 64bit - not working
my xinput9_1_0 (64bit) was corrupt I think didn't work when I copied it to the ppsspp folder tried to delete it but the owner changed to trusted installer??
and after I killed it with fire and tried to install it with DX runtime june 2010 (standalone) it just didn't so I manually extracted it and voilá that worked (still needed to copy it to the ppsspp folder though since it tried to use the 32bit ver -.-)

I guess there's something very wrong in my system but I'm not entirely sure where...
if someone has some ideas please share^^ (I think that should be still in the scope of this thread, though I'm not sure)

RE: PPSSPP x64 build on Windows 7 64bit - not working
system32 is the location of 64bit system files
syswow64 (Windows on Windows64) is the location of 32bit system files.

32bit applications are automatically remapped to syswow64 when they look for system32

RE: PPSSPP x64 build on Windows 7 64bit - not working
64bit version works just fine. Fix your Windows, update it, install the VC 2010 redist x64 and try again!

Download VC 2010 redist x86, too. Somehow I'm able to make ppsspp x64 work by doing that here

It works fine on a few machine where I tested it following my instructions. I don't know what YOU changed on your setup, but there's definitely something wrong YOU did.

RE: PPSSPP x64 build on Windows 7 64bit - not working
I had to uninstall all vc redistributables and install this:

http://www.softpedia.com/get/System/Syst...ller.shtml

(which installs all vc redists in one take)

and the problem went away. Maybe even just installing this is enough.
