RE: Monster Hunter Portable 3rd HD VER
Seems like this game finally goes in-game with working touch controls + JIT on Android. I tested with 0.9.5-1063-g6fed4e2 on my ancient Tegra 2 tablet running Android 4.3.1, so hopefully others can get it working too. I'm not sure of the exact revision it started working, though.

RE: Monster Hunter Portable 3rd HD VER
Hm. This is interesting. I'm using PPSSPP v0.9.6-114-g6c8ba5e, and using the Mega BBQ-spit I noticed the color bug is fixed. My meat (and fish) now correctly changes color when cooked. I have no idea when this got fixed, or if it works on the normal BBQ-spit.

Anyone else know anything about this?

RE: Monster Hunter Portable 3rd HD VER
That's news to me. In 2nd G, the steaks are still the same colour as of 0.9.6-121-gca9efb1. I'll check 3rd HD now.

Edit: Still the same in 3rd HD for me. What sort of device are you using?

RE: Monster Hunter Portable 3rd HD VER
I mean what sort of GPU, and stuff like that. It matters quite a bit.

Edit: Does it work if you do the beginner training to cook a well done steak, out in the first area with the birds? That's where I've been testing it this whole time.

RE: Monster Hunter Portable 3rd HD VER
Interesting. It does NOT work then. It only worked on the Mega BBQ Spit on the farm. I wonder what the difference is?

As to my machine, a AMD A6-5400K APU, which has a Radeon HD 7540D.

RE: Monster Hunter Portable 3rd HD VER
I can't get it too run at >10FPS on Android, so I assume I can only play it on PC/MAC.

Does those higher res textures make so much difference? Do you think it will be playable on mobile devices in the future? So much performance can be achieved?

AFAIK MHP3RD is playable on android and I was hopin for HD Ver. to be too. Too bad...

If I am wrong please correct me guys.

RE: Monster Hunter Portable 3rd HD VER
I didn't see much of a performance difference running either game on my old tablet, but YMMV, I guess.
