here its is

this step needs time so if you want it. please be patient okay ?

1. open ppsspp. make sure you have Mhp3rd HD ver.

2.disable the JIT

3.Open Mhp3rd. Now it will boot but the controls are not working

4.Wait for the game to finish the video and you will see the Title Screen

5.At the Title Screen,Press back button of your android and go to Game Settings>System>Check The JIT

6. Press Continue. (this will not make the controls respond) and wait until the Capcom sign appears again .

7. Press back Button and Exit the Game

8. Start The game Again. Now it will work but dont expect too much speed because its HD ver.

If that couldn't work. do the steps again but don't do step 5 so here is the optianal step

4b. In Title Screen. Wait Until The video repeats again. and proceed to step 5

That's all I got. If it couldn't work. well I don't know it but I manage to play it on the Galaxy Tab 2. please tell me the results after you do it. Smile) hope these helps you

Android 4.3, 0.9.1-1899, S3 LTE

I had followed the above instructions but still unable to get the controls working. Huh

RE: Monster Hunter Portable 3rd HD VER
Hello there :3 There is one question that bugs me: what's the point of getting a HD version of Monster Hunter Portable 3rd and emulating it on PSP emulator? I mean, really, you can just upscale the original version on the emulator, apply some antialiasing and it will be brilliant! As far as I heard, the HD version is pretty much a same thing, but upscaled. It even has textures of same resolution.
Correct me if I am wrong, but the only reason to get a HD version is getting bugs like fish color bug or meat color bug fixed.
Other than these bugs, is there any difference between these two versions?

RE: Monster Hunter Portable 3rd HD VER
Well, the HD version worked long before the original version did, due to not having the same "protections" as the original did. Also, multiple textures look nicer in the HD version than the original, without needing to use texture upscaling. And if PPSSPP supported it, the HD version has really nice bloom and ambient occlusion toggles, but they currently do nothing. One more thing, it doesn't require that hacky method of using PAUTH files to run the game.

Otherwise it's the same game.

RE: Monster Hunter Portable 3rd HD VER
It's very possible to pass bloom and other effects through our Shader generators just for that game. But, it isn't worth trouble, as we have another alternative solution -> Post-Processing Shaders.

Well, I was indeed terribly wrong about the graphical difference. It's quite huge. Also, meat still seems to be bugged out for me.

RE: Monster Hunter Portable 3rd HD VER
So I decided to check up on this thread and noticed people saying that the PSP version actually works now...or at least its supposed to.

I'm using version 9.1-1939 and it seems to start up ok. I created a new character and it starts to play the intro video, but once the video runs or if I try skipping it, the emu just freezes. What can I do to get this game to play finally??? Please

RE: Monster Hunter Portable 3rd HD VER
ok so I am using ppsspp-64 v0.9.1-2205-g525757d with the "Team Maverick One" patch and everything is working fine but I'm still getting black screen on the opening FMV. I've tinkered around with the settings but I'm still not getting the opening video. I hear the sound but it just shows a black screen. Any ideas?

RE: Monster Hunter Portable 3rd HD VER
Well it's not an immediately obvious solution. It's not supposed to flicker or cause black screens when shaders are on. Tongue

However, when in doubt and you need to check something: use default settings for everything.

Alright what about the stuttering in the audio? I don't have Low Latency Audio on. Is there a way to fix the stuttering audio?

RE: Monster Hunter Portable 3rd HD VER
You never mentioned stuttering audio previously; where does it happen? If you mean when you're saving and loading (and a dialog box is on the screen, informing you it's checking the memory stick), there's nothing you can do about it right now; it's a bug in the emulation.

RE: Monster Hunter Portable 3rd HD VER
Sorry I didn't realize it was there until after I fixed the opening video (wanted to get that working before playing the game) It's not just on those parts but it's also during some quests like the Felyne meows and the Village Elder's voice
