Well, there's your problem! you don't have a PS3!
Talking about non-legit stuff is not allowed here... so you are pretty much on your own with that...

Is there anything fancy with the newer builds, I think I saw something about "30FPS games and Buffered rendering", but what exactly is new?
I am really dreading to get the newer builds out of fear of messing around with setting up my controller again Sad

PC Specs:
Intel Dual-Core E5500 2.8Ghz OCd to 3.3Ghz
4GB G.Skill RipJaws X DDR3 RAM
PALIT GeForce GT 640 1GB DDR5
Windows 7 SP1 x64

RE: Monster Hunter Portable 3rd HD VER
Henrik found a way to speed up games that run at 30 FPS by not drawing to the screen every frame, saving some work on the CPU/GPU. Also, recent code changes seem to have allowed for PC users(with NVidia at least) to force AA via the GPU control panel even with buffered rendering on. Previously, forcing AA had no effect at all, unless you forced the FXAA shader(and even that isn't perfect), or unless you disabled BR altogether.

I played around with my nVidia control panel but to be honest the graphical improvement is too slight to be concerned about.

If you can reproduce it consistently, sure. But if it's a huge hassle, you don't have to.

RE: Monster Hunter Portable 3rd HD VER
Question: Does the hotspring crash tend to happen after a quest that takes you ~30 minutes or more?

RE: Monster Hunter Portable 3rd HD VER
The crash is sort of random regardless of the character is from a quest or just freshly loaded the game.
I do suspect though that the chances that the crash happening increases the longer the emulator is running.
I Had a crash yesterday after 5 hours of playing...

RE: Monster Hunter Portable 3rd HD VER
I will have to test the 30 minute theory as most fights do not last that long. I agree with the information in Nanoha's post, the crash seems to be totally random. However I have recently been saving a state before using the hot spring and have not experienced it since doing this.

RE: Monster Hunter Portable 3rd HD VER
The Hotspring crash happened to me before but for some reason it happened *only* when I entered running to the hotspring, like, if I enter without pressing the R1 button it doesn't crash or at least that's what I noticed.

From your Bluray disk, via CFW ps3, or your PC's bluray drive.
