The download menu is horribly broken at the moment since I haven't figured out a way yet to tell the PSP that it can't connect to LAN.

You're right, DLC quests are working fine. If the download menus only purpose is download DLC quests then it isn't really worth fixing as they're easily available. Although I'm not entirely sure what it does.

EDIT: I'm pretty sure it's been reported before but I'm getting an occasional crash when entering the hot spring.

RE: Monster Hunter Portable 3rd HD VER
The only thing I'd be doing to "fix" it is just tell the game to show you an error that the WLAN switch is off, but it's trickier since it uses all sorts of internet calls that I haven't implemented yet, as well as an internet connection menu which hasn't been implemented yet, as you can see.

RE: Monster Hunter Portable 3rd HD VER
DLC Quests work, have already finished all Low Rank Quests and they all seem fine. (I find transporting 3 Wyvern eggs more taxing than any of the other 12 quests) Big Grin

Anyways, I have run into some weird graphical issues:

Also, monsters also show the same issues on some of their parts during prolonged quest durations. This usually happens when the monster in question has flown to multiple areas already. They don't really affect performance much, but they are kinda annoying. (Rathion with parts of its legs invisible is ridiculous).

This only appears occasionally, as most of the time the areas I've pointed out are fine.
My graphics options are:
-3x Render Res.
-Buffered Rendering
-Hardware Transform
-Vertex Cache
-Use VBO
-Force Linear Filtering
-MipMapping
-2x Texture Scaling w/ xBRZ

CPUSpeed = 666 is there too.

PC Specs:
Intel Dual-Core E5500 2.8Ghz OCd to 3.3Ghz
4GB G.Skill RipJaws X DDR3 RAM
PALIT GeForce GT 640 1GB DDR5
Windows 7 SP1 x64

Feel the DERP~

RE: Monster Hunter Portable 3rd HD VER
Silly question for you lot, I ended up with a .pkg file after applying the patch and following the steps.. is there a way to reverse this? Like convert it back to an ISO?

RE: Monster Hunter Portable 3rd HD VER
Extract the pkg(if you can) and then use something like npdpc to extract the ISO out of the eboot. Or if you have the eboot still, just extract it with npdpc/mangoose.

RE: Monster Hunter Portable 3rd HD VER
Thanks for all the help thus far Dax.
But, now I'm running into a new problem. When I try to run the ISO I created from Eboot.pbp it keeps telling me
"Error Loading File"
"Failed to load executable:"

Beginning to think I screwed up at some point.

RE: Monster Hunter Portable 3rd HD VER
Are you using a recent git build? HD remaster support only became official a few days ago, after 0.8.1 official.

Also, @joekenton: I fixed the download DLC screen hang; pull request is coming up shortly. It'll just give you an error in Japanese now when trying to get DLC.

RE: Monster Hunter Portable 3rd HD VER
I think you misunderstood me..0.8.1 official release does not have official support for HD Remasters.

Grab a development version, and it should run:

Which program did you use to create the ISO from the EBOOT.PBP? Did you use npdpc?
