Hi there,

Have you tried the latest beta version, which is at the moment: v0.9.9.1-460-gdfcd1bc
Its found here: http://buildbot.orphis.net/ppsspp/index.php

Give that a try, and see if it still crashes. Cool

RE: PPSSPP crash on exit?
I will give the nightly a shot thanks.

Yep still crashes even on default settings.... I have to kill with task manager...other then this everything else seems to be working amazingly with the latest stable release... very impressive...I would love to sort out this crashing so I can run ppsspp from my GameEx frontend...

I wasnt having this issue before the latest update. Im sure its a conflict with something on my system..

So I assume you meant you had this installed on your system: http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/...x?id=40784

Is that correct?

Damn.......Mmm, can you run the emulator in Infolog mode, to create a Infolog file of what's happening (ppsspplog.txt), then when it crashes, hopefully may show why on that, just an idea to try.
It may shred a clue to what's happening.

Edit: go to settings / System tab / Developer Tools.
Make sure Enable debug logging is ticked.

Edit 2: I have just had an idea what it maybe, where do you keep the folder of the emulator, is it on the desktop / Documents folder ETC ETC?
because on the latest versions of Windows, the operating system doesn't allow files to be changed, due to its built in permissions.

Is this what's at the end of your ppsspplog.txt file...........

Code:
24:40:668 user_main    I[KERNEL]: HLE\sceKernel.cpp:162 Shutting down kernel - 19 kernel objects alive
24:40:676 GLES\Framebuffer.cpp:1777 I[SCEGE]: Destroying FBO for 00000000 : 480 x 272 x 1
24:40:676 GLES\Framebuffer.cpp:1777 I[SCEGE]: Destroying FBO for 00044000 : 480 x 272 x 1

24:42:921 Config.cpp:897 I[LOAD]: Controller config saved: controls.ini

I must go now and get some sleep........ Blush

Not sure where the log is saved to? dont see it in the ppsspp folder after the crash..
the crash has happened from 2 different locations.. at first I had it on a secondary storage drive... then I moved it over to my C: drive because it is now setup with gameex in which all emulators go on the c drive in a folder called emulators...

it is bizzare especially when the older version worked fine...thanks for all the help.

Place the emulators folder in your documents folder, as in there, there are no permissions required for some reason, so I read somewhere.
Test without Game ex first, then with it, see if that makes any difference.

Right off to work I must go, good luck my friend.
