Are you on a laptop that has NVidia Optimus by chance? Those laptops that have an Intel GPU as well as an NVidia one.

4GHz AMD 3900X, 32GB DDR4 RAM, 6GB Nvidia RTX 2060, Asus Crosshair 7 Hero (Wifi), Linux

Yes I'm on a laptop and it has Intel HD Graphic 4000 too. So what is the cause of the crash?

RE: [Windows 7] Crash when starting the emulator
You have out of date intel drivers for one (its fixed on the latest)

but the main issue is its using the intel chip instead of the nvidia chip in the first place.
