Tales of Phantasia: Narikiri Dungeon X
Title: Tales of Phantasia: Narikiri Dungeon X
Region (JP)
Format ISO
Version v0.7.6-1239-g104a3a3
OS Android 4.2.1
Compatability (Playable)
Notes: It's playable on my Nexus 7 with almost 57-60FPS. Except going into the battle. The framerate drop down to 4-6FPS. It takes 15 second to go into battle (Turned on frameskip 1). It seems that the effect make it slow down.
(have some pictures for reference.)
Also, sometimes in menu, the framerate is about 47-54FPS.
Buffer rendering:On
Video Playing: Very smooth

RE: Tales of Phantasia: Narikiri Dungeon X
Tales of Phantasia can load through the menu now. Only issue for this and other games I tested (Corpse Party 2, Star Ocean 1/2 etc..), there is absolutely no sound in videos and there seems to be no voices whatsoever.

Otherwise from what I'm testing, Tales of Phantasia seems to work wonderfully.

Edit: There's some voices in battle in TOP. Just the general attack/damage voices.

I can confirm that dungeon x runs at 60 vps and full sound on both game and cutscenesbseince the update. But the framerate drops as ypu said to 25 when the battle loads.

RE: Tales of Phantasia: Narikiri Dungeon X
Opened an issue on Github but I figured I'll post here too.
https://github.com/hrydgard/ppsspp/issues/3152
Seems like there's a graphical issue whenever I try to enter Overdrive mode and I can't for the life of me figure out why.

You need to press L once you have more than 100% in the bar on the screen.

RE: Tales of Phantasia: Narikiri Dungeon X
I have some issues with the Tales of Phantasia X part of Narikiri Dungeon X. They are:

1. The main menu doesn't show up fully and looks garbled.
2. The background of the first battle in it doesn't show up properly.
3. None of the graphics after that battle aren't shown (its just all black).

Btw, I am running it on the Pandora console.

RE: Tales of Phantasia: Narikiri Dungeon X
I'm running Ppsspp on a laptop with ATI/AMD card
Everything seems fine until the first battle
The transition was weird and slow, and when it came to the battle i can't see anything but the hud and the effect ._.
Can you recommend me a version that runs this game just fine...thanks Big Grin

RE: Tales of Phantasia: Narikiri Dungeon X
How are the graphics in this game in the latest build?

I know the battle transitions and savedata loading/saving transitions are still bad, but I'm more concerned with e.g. the over brave, etc.

[Unknown], I made some tests with the saves provided on github and I confirm that the graphical issues during the over brave persist (the pink-graphical glitches), here a screenshot:

I hope this is what you were asking for.

RE: Tales of Phantasia: Narikiri Dungeon X
Hey guys, I've hit a point in the game that freezes no matter what build I use and would love some help. It's right after yyou reunite the team following the credit roll, when Dhaos appears outside Ethos' house. Is there a fix for this? If not, could I possibly send my save to one of you guys, have you get past that conversation, then have you send it back to me?

Thanks.

RE: Tales of Phantasia: Narikiri Dungeon X
The only remaing issues with the Tales of Phantasia X part of Narikiri Dungeon X are:

1. The battle transition is really slow (its speed is shown at 3-4% while it is occurring).
2. Some of the graphics have black edges around them (such as the background in a battle, spell names, and the text shown when a battle is won).

1. Still exists in the latest build of the port made for the Pandora.
2. Fixed in the mentioned build.
