Stereoscopic 3D
Surprised no one mentioned this yet. As the emulator matures I would like to see if it get's 3D support like Dolphin and PCSX2. I know it's possible because of the PSP3D plugin http://code.google.com/p/psp3dplugin/ but how can that be implemented into the emulator?

Didn't know whether to put this in the development or homebrew section. I decided here since it can be a PPSSPP feature. Oh and Oculus Rift support maybe can included with that?

Infact, it has been mentioned, and as it requires buffered rendering to perform properly its just not viable at the present where buffered rendering doesn't even work across all games.

Bad, it's fake, don't use it, it's a waste of resources for no reason. The program is just an postprocessing effect (like shaders), what you see is NOT 3D. It's another fiasco of LG, I have HTC EVO 3D but they knew that people that would take it wouldn't buy that supposed 3D effect from 2D stuff because this is what the application does and on top of that, LG's version of the 3D converter is lame, it's the least sophisticated of the ones available on the market.

Can a beta be implemented of sorts? Think what this could mean for PC users and people with 3D phones

RE: Stereoscopic 3D
Could it be? - Probably.
Should it be when the focus should be on actual bug fixes - Probably Not.

It's not fake at all!, I have taken them with my phone and they look perfect this my phone, the only problem is low speed and i hope it increases soon. There is no reason to cheat you! i just want to broadcast my information. I"M NOT LG's OWNER!
and my last word, this app(LG 3d converter) is working perfect with OpenGL games and apps!
good luck

You do realise that it's a post processing effect right? Which means it's NOT real 3D, because it doesn't seem like you (and possibly many others) do.

There is no parallax shift on the images at all (no surprise here, since it doesn't get any important info from OpenGL like Z-depth there is NO WAY to create depth), Real 3D on PPSSPP should look like this:

Real stereoscopic images (download and watch watch them on your Optimus 3D's / EVO 3D's gallery, not viewable as 3D on mediafire's image viewer, you need a real stereoscopic screen to see them properly):

http://www.mediafire.com/download/4luhu9...-22-02.mpo
http://www.mediafire.com/download/9d1nmu...-05-01.mpo
The same images in stereo anaglyph so you can watch them with Red/Cyan glasses:

RE: Stereoscopic 3D
the images turkamir posted are actually quite good, though they are hard to see because you have to look beyond your screen(cross-eyed 3D, which has the left and right images switched, is much easier to focus on)

edit: VIRGIN KLM i actually see more flaws in your 3D images(inconsistent frames like glow on only 1 side, amd the clouds in one of the digimon pictures floating way too close, and the tail which is lying flat on 1 side and is slightly raised on the other side in the other digimon picture)

Do VSH and GAME category plugins work on PPSSPP? Did I miss this function?

RE: Stereoscopic 3D
I wasn't sure if PPSSPP was able to run that custom hombrew plugin stuff. If it does then there really isn't an immediate need to integrate this feature into the emulator itself. I just want to play my PSP games in 3D with good framerate, and non of that stuttering 3d flash on/off stuff the PSP does because it's not powerful enough
