Vsync
(Stupid back story -Optional- Question follows below)
While playing CC:FFVII at x4 resolution at full screen (normally play x2 windowed) I noticed a LOT of screen tearing.

(Question)
Just wondering if there was any talks about implementing Vsync as a option for the PC versions of PPSSPP.

If you're:-

1) Using a NVIDIA gfx card, you can force it in your NVIDIA control panel for this application. It should work.

2) Using an AMD/ATI card, forcing Vsync for this OpenGL application is rather wonky at the moment.

And since external applications like D3DOverrider will not work (PPSSPP relies on OGL backend not D3D), you'll just have to wait until it is eventually implemented.

Just be patient.

PPSSPP Modern Testbed:-
Intel Core i5 4690K @ 4.0 GHz
NVIDIA Geforce GTX 760 2GB GDDR5 VRAM @ 1138/6500 Mhz
16 GB DDR3 RAM @ 1600 MHz
Windows 7 x64 SP1

PPSSPP Ancient Testing Rig:-
Intel Core 2 Duo T9550 @ 2.8GHz
ATI Mobility Radeon 4670 1GB GDDR3 VRAM @ 843/882 MHz
8 GB DDR3 RAM @ 1066 MHz
Windows 7 x64 SP1

Worked and looks MUCH better in Fullscreen mode at x4 Resolution. Thankfully I got to use option one and fixed it really quick.

Now it is just a waiting game until they can smooth out the at3plusdecoder.dll, So cut scenes that are strictly FMV don't have audio skips and pops. Other then that CC:FFVII seems to be at 95% working. LOVE IT.

Have you tried out the latest git revision (v0.7.6-1125-g1c11045) for CC:FFVII yet?

I recommend that you do so right away, especially for that game in particular, a very nice surprise awaits you the moment you start up the game. Big Grin

RE: Vsync
I'll check it out but still, I would like to leave it so that I can use one version at a time seeing how I play multiple games. (gave you kudos for the help earlier)

(edit) I'm to lazy/drunk to search for that current work.
