PPSSPP Symbian Port

RE: PPSSPP Symbian Port
thanks xsacha!!!

But I tried ridge racer2, dragonballz, and Mortal Kombat, and they all still play the same.. really slow, and unplayable Sad
Lumines plays slightly faster maybe, but colors and sound are off, but its still really slow.
I thought I would see a big difference with the JIT working.

Will any good games every be truly playable on symbian?
I am using an 808 by the way..

thanks!

RE: PPSSPP Symbian Port
These 3d games are unplayable on Android too.
The emulator just isn't capable of playing them just yet.

I'm using Puzzle Bobble as my benchmark and it is now full speed as it is on other platforms when you enable JIT and FastMEM!

that was it!! i didnt enable JIT..

ok, here were my findings on some really demanding games.. big improvements here!

Lumines - Runs almost perfect, at almost full speed. 100% playable
DrangonballZ - playable now, but still very slow
Ridge Racer 2 - Gameplay still unplayable
Mortal Kombat Unchained - Can't get to Gameplay screen

its getting closer!

Hi, please follow the directions in the README.md.

You need to set up the variants.xml as shown with GCCE 4.6.3.

I have had that error before. Before I found how I should set it up.
It's either a problem with how it is set up in QtCreator or in variants.xml.
Make sure you follow Summeli's tutorial that he wrote up here: http://www.summeli.fi/?p=4220
And make sure the variants.xml is exactly how it is in the README.md.

No asking for etas please.
It will be released when the dev decides to release it Smile
