So have we wait for v 0.7 to see JIT or you will fix it soon and give us 0.6.1???

I am not skilled enough to fix this JIT. I am hoping Summeli can work it out.

v0.61 will be released to fix JIT for Snapdragon devices. Maybe Symbian can work by then too.

ARM11 and Snapdragon are too different to hope it will work after the fix. So the author should fix JIT for ARMv6 by himself. Try to report him!

JIT works on ARMv6, this is not the problem. The JIT isn't working because Symbian behaves differently to POSIX OS. For instance, with memory management, which makes porting emulators to it difficult.

I know Snapdragon is unrelated. I am just hoping the Symbian JIT is fixed by the same time.

I installed the version you offer here but I stumbled upon a bug.
I have a E7 with Symbian Belle (111.030.0609)installed and as you can see in the attachment the bottom of the main menu gets cut. If i start puzzle bobble its not an issue.

And there is another thing I wanted to ask:
How hard is it to port an emulator that is completely written in QT and QML to symbian? (maybe a little bit offtopic question)

i have the same bug on my 808 pureview

6.1 is out Smile

RE: PPSSPP Symbian Port
Not yet. It's also the only version without JIT.
Currently v0.6.1 doesn't really offer anything new for Symbian. Maybe tomorrow.

I'm hoping the issue is a combination of: 1) compiling for ARMv5 instead of ARMv6 and 2) bad memory management for Symbian. That's what I'm working on.

RE: PPSSPP Symbian Port
No, you have to use a real PSX emulator for that like RetroArch (free) or pSX or PCSX or ePSXe, i think a couple of those have Android ports.

RE: PPSSPP Symbian Port
There is a Symbian PSX emulator. I can only find the source code though, so you would have to compile it.
That's PCSX ReARMED.
