For me.. the newer are the best??? Huh

Yes.

There's an issue with the new ones that they consume too much VRAM. This only affects first-generation Symbian^3.

Your Nokia 701 will be fine. Latest is best for it.

RE: PPSSPP Symbian Port
I'm playing Tales of eternia on my nokia e7 with 10-20fps when moving around the map, and 40fps in battle (a bit slow but enough for me). All I need for now is a keymapping for my qwerty keyboard Smile.
For gba and snes emulator (gpsp and snes) it have "Key Config" and "Button Opacity" where you can map the keys and hide the button on the touchscreen. May ppsspp have this feature in future ?
Thank a lot for supporting symbian user.

Controlling the Virtual Key Overlay Opacity would be great as almost all games have text written under the Virtual Key and its difficult to see them...

PPSSPP already has a keymapping for Nokia E7 (I tested this).

Also, you can hide the overlay controller already in Settings->Controls.

Yes but no hide it, only decreasing the opacity so as to see the Key and the text behind it... will there be an update with that...??

Not sure.
It's already transparent. Maybe it should be slightly more transparent?

I tried it and only A, S, Q, W was set to /\, O, Select, Start button, and the arrow keys seem working. I can't find the L, R and Square, X button. I'm using 0.7.5.
