Besides these builds are highly experimental as they're adding linux 3.0.8 kernel which was previously impossible for this device, even trying UART on it was a total pain and fustration.
So this is pretty much a miracle, and moreover the chipset is a TI omap 3xxx (3630 if I'm not wrong)

So to put it simple..
one, you won't use a driver of an older GPU on newer ones
two, the driver has been coded specifically for that chipset (which is also old and why it was such a pain to deal with it until OmapZoom gave some help).
