RE: Metal Gear Solid Portable Ops
On my Galaxy S3 with the latest build (v0.9.1-752-g2745744) the shaking on the videos is completely fixed, and it is playable with non-buffered rendering improving the FPS (18-20). Way more playable now!

Thsi works too, thanks )

If you're getting 20/20 it's normal for the MGS Portable Ops games.

They were designed to run at 20 FPS even on the real PSP. Not even 30.

We'll have to wait for a hack to force the game to 30 or even 60 FPS.

PPSSPP Modern Testbed:-
Intel Core i5 4690K @ 4.0 GHz
NVIDIA Geforce GTX 760 2GB GDDR5 VRAM @ 1138/6500 Mhz

Windows 7 x64 SP1

PPSSPP Ancient Testing Rig:-
Intel Core 2 Duo T9550 @ 2.8GHz
ATI Mobility Radeon 4670 1GB GDDR3 VRAM @ 843/882 MHz

RE: Metal Gear Solid Portable Ops
I don't even get that. I am getting somewhere around 3 to 6 FPS, which is why I am looking for the settings others are using.

Please note I am also playing Portable Ops +, not just the standard Portable Ops...not sure if that makes a difference

RE: Metal Gear Solid Portable Ops
Anybody else notice that a few sentences in the first comic cutscene with Campbell aren't voiced? I thought that might have been intentional due to handheld limitations but I looked up the scene on youtube and it was all voiced.

RE: Metal Gear Solid Portable Ops
I did notice that as well.

On another note, is there a way (or settings) to adjust that fix the missing texture issue? The game is still playable, but some parts are kind of tough because of the graphical breaks.

RE: Metal Gear Solid Portable Ops
I really love Metal Gear Solid Series after I played and finished the following Metal Gear Solid Series in 3 days; Metal Gear Solid Twin Snakes, Metal Gear Solid 2 Sons of Liberty, Metal Gear Solid 3 Snake Eater and now I brought Metal Gear Solid Portable Ops and Peace Walker because both are sequel of Metal Gear Solid 3 Snake Eater It feels strange for me to play Portable Ops at a speed of 20fps on my pc and even on my PSP, Is it built to run at 20fps and Is there any ways to run it at 30 or 60fps?

My PC Specs:
Motherboard: MSI K9N6PGM2-V2
Processor: AMD ATHLON II X2 255 3.1Ghz
RAM: 3GB 800mhz DDR2 Kingmax
Graphic Card: AFOX Radeon HD 6570 1GB DDR3
PSU: 500watts Generic Powersupply
Operating System: Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit

RE: Metal Gear Solid Portable Ops
As far as I know, it's built to run 20fps and there's no way to increase it, unfortunately.
