RE: Mortal Kombat - Unchained
Yes I have the same problem, but with buffered rendering on there is no flickering.

With buffered rendering it is more playable, but there is another problem, but i don't know how to describe, because my english isn't that good^^

But i want to try to describe: When buffered rendering is on and the characters move you can see them a short time on their old and their new position. (it's like you shake your hand very fast in front of your face, than you can see your hand and more than one time... and the characters look like that...I hope you understand what I mean^^). I cant describe it better, sorry... I hope someone who speaks english better than I do can describe it better or a dev can play the game to see what I mean^^

RE: Mortal Kombat - Unchained
Hello,
On all the latest April 1st builds, the game runs at full speed with a lot of flickering, turning off media and buffered rendering doesn't help. The only version running "properly" with no flickering for me is 0.5 gold, but very very slow, barely playable. My Andro specs: Dual Core Cortex A9 @ 1.5 Ghz CPU, Mali 400 MP2 GPU, 1 GB DDR3 memory.Running on stock Android 4.1.1 Jelly Bean because my device cannot be rooted at the moment.I was wondering if someone could recommend a "playable" version of the emulator, perhaps not at full speed but maybe a bit better than 0.5 gold.I am using the USA Version, not european version.Should i switch to european version?Thank you!

If you have the gold version v0.5, just update it with Google Play, if you bought. Or download the official 0.7 which is the same as gold, for now has no version difference between gold and normal.

Phones: Poco F3 8GB/256GB (Snapdragon 870 5G) and Redmi Note 6 Pro 4/64GB (Snapdragon 636)

PC: AMD Ryzen 5 3600 / 16GB RAM DDR4 3600MHz / NVIDIA GTX 1660 Ti 6GB / Windows 10 Pro

RE: Mortal Kombat - Unchained
Thanks, GuilhermeGS2.Like i said before, on all the new versions for Android (including 0.7 Gold) the game is running at full speed, but the flickering appears.I think i'm going to wait for a proper v0.8.You guys are doing a great job with this project, keep it up! Smile

// later edit: well, this is weird, the game works with playable speed (about 50% of the full speed) on v.0.6.1 gold and no flickering with all options checked, but seems to be hanging randomly. For now, i'm ok with it, it's not full speed but it's playable with no flickering. Smile

RE: Mortal Kombat - Unchained
Tested on v0.7.6-272-g685e836 Windows x86 version. Specs are as in sig.

Game still requires media engine to be off to run. Very playable at full speed, 60 VPS, but still has that persistent character texture flickering problem that really hurts the eyes. Backgrounds are rendered properly though. Would almost be fully playable if not for the flickering and the abnormal shadows.

PPSSPP Modern Testbed:-
Intel Core i5 4690K @ 4.0 GHz
NVIDIA Geforce GTX 760 2GB GDDR5 VRAM @ 1138/6500 Mhz
16 GB DDR3 RAM @ 1600 MHz
Windows 7 x64 SP1

PPSSPP Ancient Testing Rig:-
Intel Core 2 Duo T9550 @ 2.8GHz
ATI Mobility Radeon 4670 1GB GDDR3 VRAM @ 843/882 MHz
8 GB DDR3 RAM @ 1066 MHz
Windows 7 x64 SP1

RE: Mortal Kombat - Unchained
In case you're wondering what the issue looks like, here's a short youtube video I posted showing the issue.

Audio is a bit messed up due to FRAPS. FPS is also lower from FRAPS but normally runs at 60 VPS.
