RE: CwCheat Support
Hey, I am currently using PPSSPP that I downloaded off the website for windows 7 64bit. I went on github and I honestly don't know how to download the latest build. Besides that point I used CWCheat many of times on my psp but on my PC when I enter the codes for Monster Hunter Portable 3rd HD, its the latest patched from TeamMaverickOne the codes just don't pop up from me. I tried downloaded a Cheat.db and putting the codes in there and everything just nothing is working. Would appreciate some help.

I dont know what going on for the few of you who cant get CWCheat working. Maybe something wrong with your folder structure or something. But its working for the vast majority.

I have my main PPSSPP folder "ppsspp" in My Documents, when I go into it I go into memstick then PSP then Cheats. I have a DB file in there and my MHP3rd ini there. I have tried putting the codes in with and without the name of the game and id, with spaces and then just importing the DB and still nothing. The games ID is 40001 but it saves the file as 58000. Idk if it's because its universal from PSP to PS3 but besides the point i've tried with different games also. I have tried upgrading my PPSSPP to the newest versions off github and downgrading to ones that were confirmed working. I always run ppsspp as admin and when I load in my codes they just don't pop up. When I press import from DB still nothing, no checkboxes or anything. I'm running windows 7 64bit. I have also tried enter my codes in the form off...

_C1 Give All Materials
_L 0x81752CF8 0x00340004
_L 0x00000001 0x00000001
_L 0x81752DC8 0x02640002
_L 0x1000003A 0x00000001
_L 0x81753758 0x00500002

_L 0x81752CFA 0x02E80004
_L 0x00000063 0x00000000

and that same way but with the name and ID. I made sure everything was right accordingly I use to use CWCheat on my psp all the time. But anyway I would really appreciate some more incite and assistance. Thanks in advanced.

RE: CwCheat Support
Everything looks right on your side. Just for funzies, try moving the ppsspp folder to something like the desktop. Also, open the .ini with Notepad++ and take a screenshot. I wanna see what it looks like.

Another thing to try: copy and paste this into your .ini:
_C1 Health
_L 0x00E49B56 0x00000096
_L 0x00E49B58 0x00000096
_L 0x00E49B16 0x00000096

And Run the game. Even if your cheat menu doesn't show anything, does the game activate the cheat at all? Let me know how it goes, and we can pinpoint it to either GUI code or in CWCheat.

On a side note, I'm looking through the source code to see if anything could be causing the problem. Man, i really sucked at coding back then hahaha. CWCheat was the first thing i ever wrote in C++ i'm really surprised its working at all. If i had a lot of free time i would re-write it Tongue

Ok I will try moving it to the desktop and this is a SS of whats inside my Notepad++, I use to code in C# but not C++, I will also try that code, but the code has to be for MHP3rd HD version, not the normal psp version I guess.

Edit: I tried moving to the desktop and still nothing, and it the codes still do not work either. Hmm this is odd.

RE: CwCheat Support
Huh? I have Used CwCheats on the Official Version of PPSSPP; Tho, the Cheat all have to be Added and Edited Manually via the Game's INI file. Which, is Auto-Generated when you Load the Game with "Enable Cheats" and "Enable Networking" checked. The Cheats will work When you Load the Game again (after saving all changes in the INI file); _C0 = Not Activated and _C1 = Activated.
This may be a Pain sometimes; But It works!

Trust me I have done all that, I'm not stupid when it comes to this kind of stuff, I did everything properly and I have a lot of experience with my old psp. For some reason my pc or something with the PPSSPP's coding doesn't let me do it.

RE: CwCheat Support
Really, I'm Running Windows 7 64-Bit; there will be no Cheat Menu; the Activated Cheats will Load when the Game is Reset through the Emulator. If it's not working then the Cheats might not be Valid or Working or For the Wrong version? Search Google for them by using the Game ID displayed by PPSSPP.

RE: CwCheat Support
I have win7 x64 and never had a problem with cheats not displaying, however after checking something I could reproduce this issue by saving ini file as unicode instead of default ansi. So this could be the issue here.

Nah I made sure its saved as ANSI and not unicode. This is confusing I have windows 7 prof 64x just saying. I took my friends control panel and SS it to see if they had certain MS C++ reps that i don't and if i didn't have one i downloaded it and still nothing. I'm trying hard to figure this out.

Edit: can we compare SSs of our win 7 add/remove programs or something to see what you have and I do not. Just curious there has to be something on my pc that's either missing or conflicting...

Edit2: OK, this is now officially weird. I moved the PPSSPP into one of my harddrives and BOOM works. Man this is weird I guess i'll keep it there.
