Try to copy the flash0 directory from JPCSP into your PPSSPP directory.

Where do we put them on the Android version?

EDIT: Nevermind, just had to update. Smile

Wouldn't that technicaly work if I'd copy that directory from a real PSP, PS3's PSP emulator or PSVita's PSP emulator?

BTW, fonts still don't work, real PSP or JPCSP it gives black screen when they are about to appear and will not show anything onscreen unless the game calls a GE cleanup, to me atleast.

Went ahead and made Droid Sans into .pgf format, looks a bit nicer than jPCSPs and seeing as it's the same font that Android phones use, I thought it was fitting.

RE: [v0.61] Dissidia - Final Fantasy
For now you can replace font files in the .APK (just open it with winrar).

I might add support to make it read fonts from the SD card / USB storage if it's there, say from /PSP/flash0 .

rename it to zip and just open it with winrar. then go into assets/flash0, there's the font directory.

We have to resign it after that, correct?

RE: [v0.61] Dissidia - Final Fantasy
Hm, maybe so. I don't know, I haven't modded an APK before.

Anyway, I might just include these fonts with PPSSPP, as they do seem to look better than the JPCSP fonts Smile Needs more testing first, and before that I need to bugfix the font rendering as it has problems in some games.

Yeah. Needs to be resigned else it won't install. Ever.

Tragic news. This game no longer starts at all if fastmem is enabled. (Not that big a deal. Just use normal Jit.) The game also only gets as far as the main menu. (After loading a game file where you are supposed to chose Story Mode, Arcade Mode, etc.) As soon as you choose an option the screen turns white. You can't go back, you can't tell if you're selecting things, nothing. Just white screen forever. [Insert sad face here.]

Okay. It's just a regression that we'll fix, I'm not sure that qualifies as "tragic" Smile

Yeah it was just a simple regression, it's even fixed now with 0.6-836.

Joy! I know it wasn't truly "Tragic." Just trying to put some emotion into it. Really grab the reader's attention ya'know? Anyways, glad to see it's fixed. One of my favorite games on PSP for killing time.

EDIT: Are you sure it's truly fixed? I still get the white screen on latest rev. What settings are you using? Otherwise it may be an Android-only compatability issue. (I'm assuming you're using windows.)

Yeah I am using Windows, but I was also having problems a few revs ago with PPSSPP crashing when trying to play Dissidia - though I guess that could have been something different, perhaps it was something with the fonts.
Anyway, attached my settings.
