Be more specific, where do you get the black screen?

-Samsung galaxy S3 International version - Android 4.4.2
-Dual Core locked CPU, Clocked at 1Ghz-1.8Ghz
-Mali 400MP4 GPU Clocked from 160Mhz to 533Mhz
-1GB ram, boo..

I apologize. Black screen on startup. I've updated my emu software this morning but nothing helps.

That's weird.. I just tested it and its working flawlessly.
Try uninstalling the app, reboot your phone and then install it again.

RE: Dissidia - Final Fantasy
I just had a heart attack with this game today. The audio is quite low on PPSSPP so I have to turn it up in order to play and hear normaly the sounds and suddenly my opponent did a move that obviously PPSSPP doesn't like like and a loud screeching-white noise sound started that almost made my ears bleed and my heart stop. It was so sudden. NEVER PLAY THAT GAME WITH HEADPHONES UNLESS IT GETS FIXED! XD
On a side note, I try to understand what Costum DLCs do on Dissidia games and how could they get ported to PPSSPP:

RE: Dissidia - Final Fantasy
I'm using v0.7.6-187-gc7f5de9 and game works great however there is no music and no voices in cinematics however voices in battle when you fight. Also text is a little out of place ie. Fi nal Fant asy or something in those regards. I haven't checked CGI movies yet. Any solution or is this not implemented yet?

You guessed right, these are not implemented yet, they're working on it though.. You can follow the progress here https://github.com/hrydgard/ppsspp/pull/997

Though all the texts are displayed fine here, that or I've got used to it LOL

Basically some letter are correctly spaced while others are close to another, almost touching. So far I only see it through dialogue.

That and sometimes the text is replaced with numbers. Although it usually corrects itself after a few seconds.

On android just disable buffered rendering and pretty much enable everything else in graphics and it should run flawlessly and when it goes to black screen at most parts pressing start will let you skip cutscene which is needed at alot of spots or the emulator will crash and after certain battle it will crash so do something different such as put new items on or accessories n such and it should bypass the crash but at times that wont even work had to fight sephiroth with cloud 20 times til it finally bypassed in the story mode and you could enable fast memory aswell if it still runs slow ive already beaten the game tried dissidia 012 but honestly that one sucks compared to the first
