I totally agree with you ! Smile
We shouldn't use save states in order to replace in-game saves, that's a bad idea.

I don't own this game, so I can't help you...
But you should post in the game's thread to speak about that I think Wink

RE: someone please add AUTOSAVE
PPSSPP gold user here. Google brought me hree, have to necro bump this.

Honestly, I'm not even asking for an autosave feature - just put some more space between the buttons or put them on opposite sides of the screen.

I'm playing Persona3Portable on android, and I just lost 12 levels worth of progress! This has happened to me far too many times with far too many games, the buttons are so close that sometimes by accident you'll touch the save state when you mean load state and vice versa. It's a terrible day when that happens.

Either that, or get us a rewind feature Tongue

Also, I'm playing on an Xperia Z Ultra, so screen estate vs finger size isn't the issue.

There is a rewind feature. Tongue
Go to Game Settings>More Settings...>System>Rewind snapshot frequency. Don't set it to 0.
In Game Settings>More Settings...>Controls>Control mapping, set a control input for "Rewind."

I don't know how much you should set Rewind snapshot frequency but when I tried to set it to 1, it works! Big Grin

That won't work for mobile devices, barbanium, as it's not available.
