Disabling XBox Controller
Hi all,

I play MHF quite a lot, but the controls on the PSP required me to use the analog stick at the same time as the dpad.

This is extremely difficult when using an xbox controller, which happens to be the only controller I have for PC.

I was wondering if there was any way to disable the emulator automatically detecting the xbox controller, so that I can use xpadder to map the keys myself and switch the dpad directional buttons to the shoulder buttons on the controller.

Sorry if this is confusing, it's hard to explain without long sentences!

Thanks a lot,
Kerrigor

Actually, kerrigor, you don't have to disable the 360 controller.

I play MHFU a lot too (as you can discern from my tag), and the solution I used is just to map the DPad to the currently unused Right Anologue stick of my 360 contoller using XPadder. The Right stick is currently unused in the Controller config screen if you haven't noticed it already.

Works just perfect. Dual Analogue monster hunter FTW.

PPSSPP Modern Testbed:-
Intel Core i5 4690K @ 4.0 GHz
NVIDIA Geforce GTX 760 2GB GDDR5 VRAM @ 1138/6500 Mhz
16 GB DDR3 RAM @ 1600 MHz
Windows 7 x64 SP1

PPSSPP Ancient Testing Rig:-
Intel Core 2 Duo T9550 @ 2.8GHz
ATI Mobility Radeon 4670 1GB GDDR3 VRAM @ 843/882 MHz
8 GB DDR3 RAM @ 1066 MHz
Windows 7 x64 SP1

Thanks a lot, I didn't have the most up to date version and I didn't realise I could do this.

Life saver!!
